The Art of Adjustment Workshop: July 19th Eve Grzybowski
If you had the good fortune to be adjusted well in yoga postures, it is an unforgettable experience. It can even be a healing experience.
Adjusting is both a science and an art that needs to be learned and practiced over time so your yoga students attain new levels of awareness in their poses.
In this workshop, we will look at principles of adjusting and learn the practice of adjustments for your students’ greatest benefits. As background for this course, it would be very helpful for participants to have a copy of Eve’s newly released book (with audio tutorials), The Art of Adjustment. The main focus of Yoga is to be able to still the mind. During this workshop we will explore the physiology of stress, ways of consciously responding to a stress response and practice various deep relaxation, concentration and meditation techniques. enrol now Term3 09

FINDING STILLNESS IN THE FAST LANE – Yoga practices for integration of mind and body: Nov 15th Sal Flynn
When the mind is cluttered, distractions control our existence. This workshop aims to support the participants in deepening their personal awareness through exercises, discussion and practical inquiry into the first three Koshas, part of the ancient model of the mind in yoga practice and philosophy.
Through the use of movement and breath, we will explore the space of consciousness where there are no words for the experience in the moment. The participants will learn to cultivate the stillness that leads to integration of body and mind, and lets wisdom and spiritual growth emerge as in our yoga practice and everyday life. enrol now  Term4 09
